Julie A. Leonhard
SeaKind was born from a lifelong love for the sea and a passion for sustainability. Growing up near the Pacific Ocean, I was drawn to skincare early on, thanks to my grandmother.
My career began in finance and entrepreneurship, leading turnarounds and embracing eco-friendly innovations like waterless lithography—long before sustainability was mainstream. That work deepened my commitment to merging business with environmental responsibility.
I later earned a law degree to better serve purpose-driven ventures. The idea for SeaKind came during a visit to the Greater Farallones Visitor Center, where everything aligned.
With decades of experience, a love for clean beauty, and deep respect for marine life, I created SeaKind to deliver effective skincare that gives back to the ocean.
